Ever since the creator of the sugar and spice pastry shop was 8 years-old she always wanted to be a baker. The first cake she ever made was a yellow sponge cake with vanilla frosting for her grandfather's. That cake was a success and ever since then she has always wanted to own her own bakery/pastry shop. As the years went by she made a number of different cakes, cookies and pastries. She noticed how the obesity rate in the country was going up because of bakeries and fast-food resturants. She didnt want to contribute to that so she found ways to make the foods that everyone loves with less fat and calories. It took a while to make so many recipies but when they were all completed she opened up this pastry shop.
